The decision is temporary, and a hearing will take place in early December to determine if the arrangement should become permanent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Real Housewives of Orange County&#8221; star <strong>Meghan King<\/strong> has temporarily lost custody of her three kids with ex-husband <strong>Jim Edmonds<\/strong> after she was investigated by Child Protective Services.<\/p>\n<p>The 41-year-old reality star was reportedly involved in a CPS investigation after a school employee called the agency a few months ago, sources told TMZ.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of that investigation, King has temporarily been stripped of her joint custody rights\u2014which were first agreed to after she and Edmonds split in 2019\u2014with the retired MLB star granted full custody of daughter <strong>Aspen<\/strong>, 8, and 7-year-old twins <strong>Hart <\/strong>and <strong>Hayes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>King has been given supervised visitation rights until a hearing in December, which will determine whether this new arrangement should be made permanent, according to  Us Weekly. <\/p>\n<p>The reality star and the retired athlete separated in 2019 after five years of marriage, but their divorce and custody agreement were not finalized until 2021.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&#8220;The Real Housewives of Orange County&#8221; star Meghan King has lost custody of her three kids with ex-husband Jim Edmonds after an investigation by Child Protective Services. <span class=\"image-credit\">(meghanking\/Instagram)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/na.rdcpix.com\/53178ac27fcf32e401d7c2560fef8b16w-c343061515srd_q80.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1093061\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The TV personality, 41, was investigated after a school employee called CPS a few months ago, sources told TMZ. <span class=\"image-credit\">(Joe Scarnici\/Getty Images for Ju-Ju-Be)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One year before their divorce was finalized, Edmonds went public with his now-wife, <strong>Kortnie<\/strong>, with whom he tied the knot in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Tensions between Edmonds and his ex-wife previously came to a boiling point in May, after she allegedly tried to enter his Missouri home without permission, prompting Kortnie to call the police.<\/p>\n<p>In body camera footage from the Frontenac Police Department, King could be heard branding her ex &#8220;emotionally abusive.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_18-0\">The police report, obtained by Us Weekly, noted that officers were dispatched to the home after receiving notice that King had been \u201cto the residence several times throughout the day and was currently on scene causing a disturbance.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>King informed officers that she went to the home to drop off clothes for Aspen, adding that she had been in contact with Edmonds and Kortnie earlier in the day. <\/p>\n<p>According to Us Weekly, Kortnie answered the door and informed King that she could leave the clothes, but King demanded to speak with her daughter. Kortnie told Meghan that [her daughter] wasn\u2019t home and she was at a baseball game with Jim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs Kortnie walked back towards her office, she heard Meghan inside the home yelling for [her daughter]. Kortnie walked back to the front door and observed Meghan standing inside the house approximately 5 feet from the doorway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kortnie alleged that King \u201cslowly walked back\u201d out of the home \u201cbut wedged her foot in the door briefly, so she could not \u201cshut the door completely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter Meghan moved her foot, Kortnie closed the door,\u201d the report added. <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_27-0\">No arrests were made at that time. According to the outlet, Kortnie later &#8220;called the police department to state she did want to press charges for harassment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_29-0\">At the time, a representative for Edmonds told People, \u201cAs usual, Meghan is telling tales. Her and Jim barely communicate, so if someone is emotionally abusing her it\u2019s not Jim. And she is not getting full custody; Jim is an active and present father to all his children.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_35-0\">&#8220;The unfortunate part of all this is that it\u2019s the kids who suffer the most. Jim has always been willing to co-parent in a respectful and productive way, however Meghan has yet to reciprocate.
