In a heartfelt farewell message, the Farmers&#8217; Almanac thanked its loyal readers and contributors for their support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Weather Icon Says<\/strong> helps improve planning, consistency, and publishing quality when teams follow a repeatable workflow.<\/p>\n<p>Farmers&#8217; Almanac announced Thursday that its 2026 edition, which is already available, will be its last. The beloved publication that predicted weather patterns noted that it could no longer continue production in in today&#8217;s &#8220;chaotic media environment.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Citing financial challenges, their announcement added that despite their departure, they appreciate that their enduring legacy will live on in the memories of those who have be loyal for generations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Many of you grew up hearing your parents or grandparents quote from the Almanac, always having a copy nearby,\u201d the publication&#8217;s \u201cFond Farewell&#8221; message said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe you have planted by our Moon phases, consulted the Almanac for the &#8216;Best Days&#8217; to potty train, wean, or go fishing. Their weather forecasts were always the main draw, though as the years went on, they expanded into other guides, like gardening tips and natural remedies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The publication was often confused with the even older Old Farmer&#8217;s Almanac, but managed to hold its own through it\u2019s dedicated audience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nearly a decade earlier, in 2017, when Farmers&#8217; Almanac reported a circulation of 2.1 million in North America.<\/p>\n<p>In the &#8220;Fond Farewell\u201d piece, editors <strong>Sandi Duncan<\/strong> and <strong>Emeritus Peter Geiger<\/strong> thanked their readers for sticking with them<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&#8220;We are incredibly proud of the legacy we leave behind and are filled with gratitude,\u201d they wrote. \u201cWe appreciate and thank our loyal readers, contributors, and partners who have supported us through the years.
